Me acaba de llegar una alerta de mail para solicitar a Sony que retire las escenas ofensivas de la peli el Código Da Vinci. Está en inglés. Traduzco una frase que me ha llamado la atención:
will affect to the Opus Dei reputation, when this institution developes generously many iniciatives to increase the level of life in the third World
afectará a la reputación del Opus Dei, cuando esta institución desarrolla generosamente muchas iniciativas para mejorar el nivel de vida del Tercer Mundo.

I´m writing to you because the film Da Vinci Code, produced and distributed by Sony-Pictures, is going to premiére in next months.
I think, having read about the book of Dan Brown and with the actual controversy between freedom of expression and respect to the religious believes, that some changes to the film would be appreciated by Catholics particularly in these days in which everyone has noted the painful consequences of intolerance like the violent protests sparked by the publication of cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.
For this reason,I ask for you to delete those scenes of the film Da Vinci Code which offend the religious feeling of many people around the world and will affect to the Opus Dei reputation, when this institution developes generously many iniciatives to increase the level of life in the third World. Otherwise, the prestige of your firm will be associated to those who doesn´t respect people believes, passing on a false image of Catholic Religion.
