Me llamo Johanne Faucher. Trabajo como periodista de investigación para la Canadian Broadcasting corporation. Actualmente estamos investigando algunas prácticas del Opus Dei que parecen ser abusivas. 

Un antiguo numerario nos habló sobre sus 30 años de vida en este grupo. Nos dijo, entre otras cosas, que los miembros están prácticamente obligados a consultar al médico del Opus Dei. ¿Es así para muchos socios? ¿Está escrita esta obligación en los libros del Opus Dei? Si es así, ¿dónde? Además, nos dijo que a muchos socios se les recetan antidepresivos. Las dosis pueden ser más altas de lo que sería necesario, y se prescriben por un largo período de tiempo. 

Estoy tratando de averiguar si estas dos prácticas están extendidas dentro del Opus Dei. Estoy buscando personas que hayan sido testigos de esas prácticas y quieran  compartir su experiencia. Puede hacerlo a través de un breve correo electrónico a johanne.faucher@radio-canada.ca. Para mi es preferible en inglés o francés, pero también puede ser en español, y haré traducir el mensaje. Esos testimonios me ayudarán a corroborar la información de la que dispongo.

My name is Johanne Faucher.   I'm an investigative reporter for the Canadian Broadcasting corporation.  We are currently investigating some practices of Opus Dei that appear to be excessives.

A former numerary told us about 30 years of his life in this group. He told us, among other things, that members are practically obliged to consult the doctor of Opus Dei.

Is that the case for many members?   Is this obligation written in the books of Opus Dei? If so, where?

Also, he told us that many members are prescribed antidepressants.  Dosages may be higher than what would be required, and it is prescribed for a long period of time.  I am trying to find out whether these two practices are widespread within Opus Dei.  If you have seen these two practices, could you please share your experience in a short email at johanne.faucher@radio-canada.ca.   Preferably in English or French, but it could also be in Spanish, I will have your message translated.   It will help me to corroborate the information I got.
